About Dakar: The adventure of this brand began in 1977, when Thierry Sabine got lost on his motorcycle in the Libyan desert during the rally from Abidjan to Nice. Following this extreme experience, he returned to France fascinated by the desert landscape and decided to share his "discovery" with others. And so, the route ending in Dakar was born. The founder of this venture coined the motto: "A challenge for those who go, a dream for those who stay."
For everyone who grabs life with both hands. For those seeking a real challenge and intense, extreme sensations. For all the determined, passionate individuals who love the beauty of nature... For those driven by the desire to feel more alive than ever before, and for those who want to be the heroes of their own story.
It is in this spirit that Dakar sports frames and sunglasses are created.
The sunglasses are designed to be lightweight, and a special material prevents them from sinking.
